Top Alabama Receiver to Visit Georgia

After a recent trip to Tennessee, Tim Hawthorne from Homewood High School, knew it would not take long for the Volunteers to come calling. This weekend, the phenom wide out will trip to Athens.

"Tennessee offered me this week. I got the offer in the mail Monday. I kind of expected it after I went up there a few weeks ago, and talked with Coach Fulmer. It was great to receive the offer. They have moved up on my list."

Tennessee was Tim Hawthorne's third SEC offer following Auburn and Vanderbilt, and he will look at all of his options.

"Everything is still about the same. I am looking at everyone. I want to keep all of my options open for now," said Hawthorne.

Before spring training begins at Homewood High School, Hawthorne has a busy month planned.

"I am going to head to Georgia this weekend. Hopefully, I will come back with an offer. I guess the coaches saw my highlight video on They liked what they saw because they said they like me. I will take the ACT April 9. I will go to Louisville April 16. Louisville is showing a lot of interest, and I want to see what Coach Petrino has to say."

Hawthorne plans to attend the combine in Auburn, April 30.
