South Carolina DL Visits Georgia

Adam Patterson is a big defensive end from South Carolina that could end up playing inside on the next level, and he made a trip across the state line to Georgia for the Bulldogs' Junior Day on Saturday.

"I got to talk with Coach Richt," said Adam Patterson. "He asked me if I was looking to commit early, and I told him I was very interested in them, but that I wanted to keep my options open. I went over with two of my teammates, Calvin Harrison and Rodney Faulk. I talked with Coach Fabris who is my recruiting coach. He told me he was going to come see me in May."

What did Patterson think about Georgia?

"The facilities are real tight. I got to watch the scrimmage and meet Uga (mascot). I had my picture taken with him."

Patterson will put on display his impressive strength this weekend.

"I'm competing in the State Weightlifting Championships this weekend. I'm not really sure where else I am going to visit this weekend, but I'm definitely headed to some spring game."

Patterson told us he currently has offers from Clemson, South Carolina, East Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Maryland.
