Florida Athlete Impressed with Georgia

Last week, a 6-foot-2 and 195 pound stand out from Jacksonville (Fla.) Jackson turned the heads of several scouts at his high school. Schools such as Florida, Florida State and Georgia are showing serious interest.

Wide receiver, free-safety Jamal Harvey had an outstanding showing at his school's jamboree by recording ten solo tackles to go along with one interception.

"Right now I have three offers in Ball State, Illinois and Ole Miss," Harvey said. "My top five are Ole Miss, Florida State, Florida, Miami and Georgia."

"What does he like about some of his favorites?

"If Florida State offers, they would be number one on my list," he said. "They were my favorite team growing up and they are close to home. Florida would be a dream comes true also. Florida is close to home and I like the swamp. I like the coaches at Georgia."

This summer, Harvey has plans to camp at Ole Miss and Georgia.

Harvey is open to playing either side of the football in college.

"On offense, I'm pretty good at making people miss," he said. "On defense, I'm good at finding the ball and running to it."

As a junior, he caught 42 passes for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns.
