A load of Offers for South Ga. Defender

Darryl Gamble is an athletic safety prospect from Bainbridge High School in South Georgia that has picked up a slew of offers already. At 6-1 and 200 pounds, Gamble has the athleticism to play safety and the size to play linebacker on the next level. Who are some of the schools he is looking at?

"I haven't really thought about camps or anything yet," said Darryl Gamble. "I'm going to go to at least one though. I want to go somewhere close. A lot of the schools that have offered me aren't really that close."

Has Gamble picked out a Top 5 yet?

"No, not really. If I had to name 5 though, I guess they would be Auburn, Georgia, Maryland, Clemson, and Tennessee. I have offers from all of them."

Gamble mentioned wanting to stay close for Summer Camp, is that the case with his future college destination as well?

"I don't want to go too far that I can't get home every once in a while."

The Bainbridge staff is going to be looking forward to keeping him home one more year after a terrific junior season.

"I had 89 tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, and three forced fumbles. I had three touchdowns, but they all got called back last year; they're on tape though," Gamble added with a laugh.

Gamble is going to get plenty of chances this year and beyond to reclaim those lost touchdowns.
