Florida Star Loves Camp in Athens

Rudy Robinson is a player we haven't talked much about this year but the Pahokee standout is picking up some interest from a few of the top programs across the south. He recently attended camp at the University of Georgia and it appears as if the Bulldogs liked what they saw.

"I was up there at Georgia and Coach Foster (Pahokee Head Coach) told me I had picked up some offers but he hasn't been able to tell me about it. I know Georgia is looking at me real hard. I'm going back up there to camp again on the 8th," Rudy Robinson said.

What did he like about his camp experience in Athens?

"The coaches up there are real nice and while I was up there I got to talk to the team. The new freshmen who had just got there were loving it. They just all really liked it at Georgia."

Robinson loves what he sees so far from the Dawgs.

"I've talked to all of the coaches up there but especially Coach Jancek. We can really communicate with one another and I understand him. He really hasn't had to sell anything to me because I really like Georgia already but that's just my first visit so far."

Who else comprises his short list right now?

"I also like Florida, Auburn and a few others. With Florida, that's my home and I like their team. I didn't get a chance to talk to the coaches at our state game so I'll have to go up there and visit. I like Auburn because I like the team. I haven't gotten a chance to speak to their coaches yet either but I'm looking forward to it."

Rudy will finalize his camp plans in the very near future.

"I'm going to the Rutgers camp as well as Georgia. I'm also looking at 2 or 3 more."
