As a junior, Wilson posted over 1,000 all purpose yards with over 600 receiving. On defense he had roughly 20 tackles and one interception; and on returns he averaged close to 100 yards a game. He also returned two punts for scores.
"I camped with UGA and Florida and I am done," said Wilson. "Georgia is my leader and I feel real good about them. I had a great camp experience there and that was my second time in Athens. I like everything about the Dawgs, especially the coaching staff and players.
"The Florida camp was good too but the Georgia players were more friendly. I am still getting familiar with the coaching staff there.
"Florida and Georgia are my two favorites and Georgia is my leader. I would like to commit soon if I can really figure this out but I want to take an open approach because I still have some interest in other schools."
So to read between the lines Georgia is the favorite for Wilson at this time with Florida a close second. Wilson also lists three other teams in the mix – LSU, Tennessee and Michigan. But there is also another school possibility, Florida State. The Seminoles are the only program that has not extended Wilson a scholarship offer of the schools mentioned. And if they do things could drastically change and change quickly.
"I love Florida State. That was my team growing up. My cousin (Reinard Wilson) played for them. But they have not offered so what can I do. Things could really change if they do offer me a scholarship.
"LSU is a team I always liked to because they were the first team to offer me both verbally and in writing. I want to show them some love back and I have really enjoyed my talks with Coach (Les) Miles.
"I have been up to Tennessee a few times for track and I just love the atmosphere there. The fans are just great and I love to play in front of the big crowds.
"Michigan has been recruiting me since they started recruiting Avery (Atkins). They were also one of the first schools to jump on me and I want to show that loyalty back to them."
