Clifton Geathers has Georgia Ties

Clifton Geathers is a mammoth offensive line prospect from Georgetown (S.C.) Carver's Bay High School. Geathers stands 6-8 and weighs 275 pounds. And if it was up to him he would be playing on the other side of the ball.

"I want to play defensive end in college," said Clifton Geathers. "But I know I will probably play on offense instead of defense."

For Geathers he is just now getting into the recruiting process. Because of his talent he could name his school. And for some schools he lists he is just know getting to know those programs. For others, he is very familiar with.

"I am wide open and just really starting to get into recruiting. I like Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, South Carolina, Southern Cal and others.

"Auburn has a great team and they had a great season last year.

"Florida State has the tradition.

"My brother (Robert) went to Georgia and I am pretty familiar with them and the coaches.

"I am still kind of researching Miami but I know they are good."

"All I know about Michigan is that it's pretty cold but I like them.

"South Carolina is a great place to be. I am anxious to see what Coach (Steve) Spurrier does there this season. They should be pretty good.

"Southern Cal… The Trojans are the No. 1 team around. Enough said about them."
