"The camp was great," said Sean Gottschalk. "The camp wasn't totally about football. It was more of a tour of the school than anything else. The school has a great academic program. I also took an unofficial visit to Syracuse on the way back home."
Is there a leader for Gottschalk?
"My top five are Virginia, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, and Boston College. I have offers from all five of these schools. These five are in no specific order."
Which school has made the biggest impression on Gottschalk?
"Virginia has stuck out from the rest. They have a talented squad this year. I'm interested to see what they do with that talent. Plus the coaching staff has been the easiest to talk to."
Gottschalk is being recruited as both a Tight End and Defensive End. Will his positioning on the field be a deciding factor?
"My position of choice is at Defensive End. Most schools talk to me about playing Defensive End at the next level. There are a few schools that want me at Tight End. There are many things to weigh when choosing a school. The position I play could be one of the factors."
