Safety Talks Georgia Camp/Leaders

Quintin Banks came into this weekend's camp at the University of Georgia with a scholarship offer already in hand, but his performance did nothing but impress the UGA coaches even further.

"Things went pretty good yesterday. After the camp was over, I went upstairs into the office with Coach Martinez and Coach Richt. They said they were real impressed and they liked that I worked hard. They said they were even more confident in their offer after seeing me in person now," Quintin Banks said.

What were his impressions of the weekend?

"The camp really impressed me. They work hard and I want to be a part of a team that does work hard. They showed me they want to win every game they play and that's important to me."

Did his time in Athens bring the Dawgs up in his mind?

"Definitely. I'm glad I went. It gave me a chance to look at things and I got to evaluate them why they were evaluating me."

The visit was not enough however to overtake the Vols at the top of his list.

"I like Georgia, Purdue, Tennessee and Auburn. Tennessee is still my favorite because my family loves them and I grew up liking them."

Banks will again hit the road next week when he makes the short ride over to the Auburn University for his 2nd camp of the summer.
