Florida Lineman Loves Georgia Camp

Charles Deas is quite possibly the best DT available in the Sunshine State, and this weekend the big man chose to travel north and camp with one of his favorite programs, the Georgia Bulldogs. He came away extremely impressed and he offered these thoughts to Scout.com about his visit.

"I really liked the camp. I love it up there. It was the best one I've been to and I've been to Auburn, Miami and Florida so far. I got to talk to the coaches. Coach Richt told me he would love to have me and I'm just waiting on them to send me an offer in the mail," Charles Deas said.

Who was the most impressive player he saw all weekend?

"There was really a whole lot of players out there but the one who impressed me was my teammate was Bobby McGee."

The visit was enough to put UGA at the top of his list.

"I like Georgia, Nebraska, Auburn, Tennessee and LSU. Georgia and Nebraska are going neck and neck right now. I like Georgia because of the way the players get extra time with academics and they help you a lot. I like Nebraska because all they worry about is academics and then football."

Deas attended with his Dillard teammates, Kendrick Johnson and Bobby McGee.

"Were all just waiting to get our offers from Georgia right now. I've got mine and Kendrick already has his, were just waiting on Bobby to get one and then we may all go up to Georgia together. We were talking about it on the way home."

Who all has offered the Dillard star?

"Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Houston, Florida, FSU, Nebraska, Auburn, Duke...There's a lot of them really."

Charles will attend one more camp at LSU at the end of this month.
