Georgia Linebacker Earns Georgia Offer

Kelvin Sheppard is one of many talented players from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. With a total of fifteen offers in hand, he will certainly have options on signing day. Sheppard attended Georgia's senior camp over the weekend. What were his impressions of the school?

"Right when I got there, the coaches showed that they wanted me to be a part of the program," said Kelvin Sheppard. "Georgia has one of the most tremendous campuses around. It's one of the nicest campuses in the country."

Who was the best player Sheppard faced at the camp? "Marcus Sims was the best player I competed against at the camp. Not only is he a big guy, but he's fast too. He didn't talk a lot of trash. He just got the job done."

Sheppard has a few more camps remaining on his summer agenda.

"I'm planning to head down to LSU for an unofficial visit. I'll be at Florida's camp on the 22nd and 23rd of this month. Jermaine (Cunningham) and Marcus (Ball) will be headed down there too. I may be at Nebraska's camp in a few weeks."

Sheppard's list of prospective schools are from different regions around the country. He has received offers from all the schools on his list. Is there a leader for this Stephenson linebacker?

"As of right now, I'm undecided. Nebraska, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, LSU, and Florida are schools I'm interested in at the moment."

Sheppard isn't concerned with a school's location.

"I'll go out to California if I like the school. I'll play anywhere. I just want to make an impact on the team I play for."

Which fortunate school will sign Kelvin Sheppard on signing day? Stay tuned to find out.
