Georgia in Good Shape with California Tight End

Na Derris Ward is one of the top TE's in the country this season and the Oakland star has had a consistent leader for his signature since the very beginning. Are the Georgia Bulldogs still on top?

"It's still Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma and Mississippi State is in there too. Georgia is still the leader. Just recruiting wise they've done an outstanding job of recruiting me," Na Derris Ward said.

He has already set his first official visit.

"I think my coach set an official visit to Arizona on the 22nd of October. I'm for sure going to try and schedule Oklahoma and Georgia. I'm also looking at Florida State."

Ward will unofficially visit his favorite school next month.

"I'm coming down to the Georgia area in August for like a vacation for my birthday. It's most likely going to be the 10th through the 25th. I'll definitely get over to UGA to check it out."

Might a commitment be in the cards on his trip?

"It's definitely a possibility the only problem is that my mom may not be coming down with me and I want her to see it before I make a commitment. If she does come, then I definitely could commit."

Na Derris recently got some good news on his injured knee as well.

"I thought I had torn cartilage in my meniscus and they were going to have to remove it but it turned out to be ok. I was back out at practice today."
