OL Gives Georgia High Marks

Lee Tilley is one of the top offensive linemen in the country this year and the big man out of Ohio made his third stop on his southern tour this afternoon in Athens, GA. He offered the following thoughts on his first trip to the University of Georgia.

"It went pretty good. I got up and met with the coaches. I really hit it off with the OL coach. He showed me film and he told me how they call plays and work harder than any other group. They go out before practice and do stuff even before anybody else," Lee Tilley said.

The Ohio OL got the grand tour of campus.

"I got to tour the campus and I met Thomas Brown. I spoke with him and I asked if there was anything wrong with Georgia and he just told me there wasn't. He's a good Christian man and it's just a great place."

Which facilities stood out to him?

"The weight room is nice. The practice fields are nice. The dorms are really secure. You have to have a hand scan to even get in there."

Tilley had high marks for the Georgia offensive line coach.

"Coach Callaway is a great coach and a great person. If everyone there is like him then that place is just great."

He also spent some time with the head Bulldog.

"Coach Richt just told me how long he plans to be there and told me about his family, the systems he put in when he got there and all that. He told me there is a chance I could play early there with the OL's that are leaving too."

How did this visit compare with his previous ones to Auburn and Florida?

"I like them all the same really right now. The coaches are all great people and great OL coaches. They're all going to put me in a great position and I just want to think some more about it."
