Derrick White, who was thrown off the team in June, and Arnold Harrison, who is trying to make it in the NFL, are both gone. That means sensational linebacker Brandon Miller will take over as the starter at this spot. Miller was zoning in on lots of playing time no matter what happened with White this summer; now he and back-up Jarvis Jackson can lock down the position for the Dawgs. Miller and Jackson, like Verdun-Wheeler and Jackson on the other side, provide solid depth and productivity at the sam spot.
