"It was a little lethargic out there at the start," said Richt. "Once we got to 11-on-11 it livened up to game-tempo out there. The guys got a lot of work in so overall it was a good practice."
Sophomore split end A.J. Bryant was forced to leave practice early after injuring his shoulder during a special teams drill. Richt said the severity of Bryant's injury would not be known until tomorrow. Bryant (6-2, 195) entered the 2005 preseason as Georgia's No. 2 split end.
Tomorrow the Bulldogs will be having their first two-a-day workouts of 2005 and will also have their first practice in full pads, which will be during the morning session.
