PICTURE DAY: Several changes have been made to the format of Georgia's annual Picture Day, which will be held today. Most notably, the event has been moved back outside after several years in the downtown Classic Center. This year, Picture Day will be held at the team's practice fields off Lumpkin Street near Milledge Avenue.
Temperatures are expected to reach 95 degrees today. Tents have been set up to keep fans out of the sun as much as possible.
Also, a ticketing system has been implemented to control the autograph lines for Richt and UGA VI.
Richt will be available along with the rest of the team from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the practice fields, which will open at 1 p.m. Fans in his line will be given tickets, and only the first 250 will be guaranteed an autograph from the coach. Others will be given standby tickets.
UGA VI will be available from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. inside Stegeman Coliseum. Only the first 120 groups will be guaranteed time with UGA VI. Others will be given standby tickets.
Fans can enter the practice fields from two locations: off Smith Street (near Stegeman Coliseum) and off Rutherford Street (near the Rankin Smith Center). The Smith Street entrance will have handicap access.
Fans may bring in just one item to be signed.
