Leader Remains but Door Still Open for Ga. LB

Vandaral Shackleford has helped lead his Riverdale team to a 2-0 start. He had a good game against Morrow last night. Who is he looking at the hardest, and get a chance to see him in action as a senior in this presentation by ScoutTV.

Vandaral Shackleford's Riverdale team is off to a 2-0 start. Shackleford started the first series last night against Morrow at middle linebacker. After the first series was over, which was a nine minute touchdown drive, Shackleford moved outside to take advantage of his speed and good work in space, and Morrow never saw the endzone again.

Shackleford also contributed on offense and special teams. His forced fumble helped turn the momentum of the game.

See him in action from last night's 20-7 win in this presentation by ScoutTV.

After the game, we caught up with him to talk about recruiting.

"North Carolina (offer) is still my leader right now," said Shackleford, "but I'm serious about other schools too. I'm going to take a look at Duke (offer) and Georgia (offer), and Miami of Ohio (offer) too. I'm going to take a look at all of them before I make a decision."

Shackleford is an active linebacker that is an excellent student as well as football player, and he's going to be a good pickup for one lucky team come signing day.
