GA Athlete Picks Up SEC Offer

Cartersville High School has gotten off to an impressive 2-0 start this year and a big reason for their success has been two-way player Terrell Johnson. Which schools are showing the most interest in signing him right now?

"I have a Mississippi State offer. Maryland, Auburn, Ohio, Ball State, UAB and Boston College are all recruiting me also. There's a lot of them really," Terrell Johnson said.

Who is he most interested in right now?

"I like Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and LSU. I really don't have a favorite but those are the ones I'm going to look into."

What stands out about each of those SEC programs?

Auburn: "That's the only college atmosphere I've been around and I like the whole town and the campus."

Georgia: "That's the home town school so it would always be nice to go to Georgia."

South Carolina: "I like their defense. They're a hard hitting team."

LSU: "I just like the down south teams and they're one of those schools."

Johnson has to set any visits just yet.

"I haven't scheduled any official visits but hopefully I'll get to a couple of college games this season. Any that I can get to within the travel area."

Terrell is off to a good start this season.

"The first game of the season I had 5 carries for 114yds. On defense I had about 7 tackles. Last week I had more carries but I'm not sure of the yards. I had about 15 or 16 tackles though."
