Kentucky Star Visiting Athens this Saturday

Micah Johnson is one of the most highly thought of players in the nation and this weekend he will take his first official visit of the year. The Kentucky star will visit the Dawgs of Georgia for their game against Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

"I'll be at Georgia this weekend. I just want to see the atmosphere of the place, the player and coach interaction and stuff like that. I'm looking forward to it," Micah Johnson said.

Johnson also knows another destination for one of his visits.

"My official visit to Michigan will probably be for the Ohio State game. That's not for sure yet though. I won't make a decision until I take all 5 of my visits."

Which schools are still in contention for his signature?

"I still haven't narrowed it to a top 5 but LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, Louisville and Penn State are all still in it."

Johnson stayed home last weekend to attend the big in-state rivalry game between the Cats and the Cards.

"I went to the Louisville/Kentucky game. It was a great atmosphere. My favorite part was just being at the game really."
