Top Ga. Safety to be in Athens?

Reshad Jones got off to a fast start in the recruiting season with close to 35 offers already, and he has helped his Booker T. Washington team get off to a fast start on the field too. Jones is wide open, but he talks a little about some of the teams he is looking at the hardest.

"We're 2-1 right now," said Reshad Jones. "We beat South Atlanta 45-0 on Friday. I had four touchdowns on 210 yards rushing. I had one touchdown called back. I also had 10 tackles in the game."

Jones faces a stiffer test tomorrow night before heading to a college game.

"We play Mays on Friday night, then I'm probably going to go to the Georgia/South Carolina game on Saturday."

Who has been in touch with Jones since the contact period began?

"Coach Rocker from Arkansas was the first school to call. I also got calls from Florida, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, and Miami. They basically asked how the team was doing. Some schools tried to set up visits, but I'm not ready to do that just yet. I'm going to try and set up visits later during the season."

Any idea on which lucky schools will get a visit from the South Hot 100 prospect?

"I'm really wide open right now, but if I had to pick some favorites, they would probably be Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami, and LSU."

Jones is a smooth free safety prospect that as a lot of options ahead of him.
