Georgia DL Visits SEC Rivals

Michael Lemon is a highly sought after defensive lineman from Stratford Academy in Macon, GA. This past weekend he decided to make the trip north to check out one of his favorite schools, the Georgia Bulldogs.

"I went up to Georgia this weekend. It was a good game, a real close game," Michael lemon said.

What was the best part of the trip?

"My favorite part was getting to talk to the coaches and getting to know Mark Richt. Then of course the game, the game itself was a great experience."

Lemon had high praise for the pre-game tradition known as the Dawg Walk.

"The Dawg Walk is crazy. You go there and you got fans screaming. They take their whole football and school pride thing seriously. They ain't playing around when it comes to that Dawg Walk."

Two weeks ago Lemon visited another of his favorite schools, the Florida Gators. How did that go?

"I went to the Florida vs. Wyoming game. It was real cool. Stadium was nice and the people were really nice.

What stood out most about the visit?

The best part was just the whole game day atmosphere and that's the same way with Georgia. You know it's game day when you get on campus."

Have these visits helped Lemon to narrow his list?

"Not necessarily ready to name a leader just yet. I should be doing that real soon though. Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Florida are still in there."

How did his game go on Friday?

"This Friday it was a good game. We got pulled out on the first drive of the 2nd half because they were trying to fight us. Coach didn't want any of us getting kicked out and we were already up big. I forced a fumble and picked up a fumble. I also had about 6 tackles."
