Florida DB Taking Some Trips

Florida prospect Marcus Udell has been busy taking trips to some of the best games in his home state over the last couple of weeks. Where has he been?

"I went to the Florida game against Tennessee and I went to the Miami/Florida State game. I'll probably make it to Alabama and Florida game also," Marcus Udell said.

What did he think out the atmospheres at those two places?

Florida/Tennessee: "It was sold out. A big defensive game and low scoring. It was intense. I liked it. It was a real good game. I got to meet Tim Tebow and Jamar Hornsby. I got to meet Darrin Walls and Percy Harvin. I got to meet the players and go in the locker oom. I got to talk to Coach Meyer and Coach Heater. They said they really wanted to see me there next year and to just give them a chance. They want me to play early but I really want to redshirt."

Florida State/Miami: "Oh man, that game was crazy. The fans went crazy and the defenses made no mistakes. It was very, very close. Just watching the game and being on the sideline watching them warm up was great. I didn't get to talk the coaches though because they aren't recruiting me very hard."

Is he ready to name a leader?

"I like a lot of schools. I don't really have a leader or anything. I just want to see how everybody's season is going and all of that. I want to take my visits after my senior season."

A bunch of schools have contacted Marcus since September.

"Schools call all the time. UCLA, Tennessee, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Arkansas, Maryland and North Carolina. Michigan State is a new one. Schools just call all the time."
