Jermaine Cunningham is one of the top 10 players in the state of Georgia this year according to and the quick defensive end from the suburbs of Atlanta names a top 3 schools for his signature. Who's still in the running?

"I'm looking at Georgia, Auburn and Florida. That's an unorganized top 3," Jermaine Cunningham said.

What does he favor about the Dawgs, Tigers and Gators?

Georgia: "Basically I like the fans and also the coaching staff. The facilities are nice and everything too."

Auburn: "They are real down to earth coaches and I like how the players are like a little brotherhood."

Florida: "Coaching staff, facilities and tradition."

Of the trio of schools still in the running, the Gators appear to be after him at the hardest at this time.

"Florida really calls the most right now. I probably get a call from them every three days or so. I talk to Georgia about every 2 weeks and I think it's been about 3 weeks since I spoke to Coach Price at Auburn."

Cunningham has attended games at two of his finalists already this season.

"I've been to a couple of games. I went to Georgia Tech/Auburn and South Carolina/Georgia. I want to see Virginia Tech/Miami and Florida State/Florida too. I haven't set any official visits yet but I want to make Florida State/Florida and Virginia Tech/Miami two of my officials."

The Stephenson star has been nursing an injury the last couple of weeks.

"We played Tri-Cities last week but I sat out due to a little ankle injury. I'm close to 100% now and we play Douglass this week."
