Wide Receiver Demaryius Thomas is the #21 ranked prospect in the state of Georgia. At 6-4 and 215 pounds, he is a huge wide receiver with great hands and excellent body control. He has been looking hard at the two in state schools, but one has taken the lead.
"I think Georgia might want me to play Tight End. If that's so, then I'll
have to put Georgia Tech in the lead. Georgia Tech wants me at Receiver. That's
what I'd rather play," reported Thomas.
Thomas has one official visit he's sure of.
"I'll go to Georgia Tech on December 7th for an official visit. I'm
supposed to go to Georgia's game against Arkansas. That won't be an official
visit though. I still don't know about my other official visits."
West Laurens is 3-4 on the season, but Thomas has helped lead his Raider team to
two straight wins after running into the buzzsaw that is Dublin. The Raiders are
2-2 in the region and have a good shot at making the playoffs.
Thomas looks like he will continue his football career in state. Will it be the
Bulldogs or Yellow Jackets on signing day for Demaryius Thomas?
