Wideout Still Looking Around

Florida's Kendrick Johnson made a verbal to the Clemson Tigers a few months back but he's vowed ever since to keep his options open. He updates Scout.com on the status of his commitment at the current time.

"I am a soft verbal right now. I'm still considering other schools. I'm still looking at Florida, Georgia and LSU. LSU is the only one of those who hasn't offered yet," Kendrick Johnson said.

What does he favor about those schools?

Clemson: "I just like the homeliness there. Out of all the schools I like, I think I can shine the earliest there too and that's why I committed."

Florida: "I just love their offense. That's the scheme that every receiver wants to play in."

Georgia: "The visit there for the camp showed me all I wanted to know. The facilities, the dorms and the field are great. It's very family oriented and a great place to play football."

LSU: "I haven't been there yet but I like their offense and the team's playing style. I think I could play early there as well."

Johnson is off to a great start this season.

"I have 25 catches for 357yds and 7 touchdowns. Were getting ready to start the playoffs here soon."

Kendrick is in the process of scheduling his official visits…
