Weston playing role

ATHENS – Kade Weston spoke with Dean Legge for a short time after one of Georgia's fall practices.

Dean Legge: How is the season going for you?

Kade Weston: Things are going good. I am enjoying myself. I am happy – happy with my decision. I like the school and I am really trying to get better.

Did they talk a lot about you late in the season?

I don't know. Right now I am just taking on my role on the scout team. That's what they want me to do and that's what they need me to do and that's what I am going to do.

What have you been working on during the season?

I have been working on the fundamentals that we do. The coaches are talking with me about hand placement; any fundamental stuff that we do. I've been working on staying low and stuff like that.

Did the injuries make you think about playing?

It doesn't make me think about it that much because we've got guys like Marquis Elmore, Dale Dixson and Darrious Swain.
