Tuesday's practice included spirited "thud" hitting, where players are instructed to perform at full contact but not tackle to the ground.
"They got after it pretty good out there today," head coach Mark Richt said. "When the team came together for some situational work, there were times when the defense dominated and times when the offense got the best of the action."
Richt talked about Saturday's key contest at length during the Bulldogs' game-week press conference earlier on Tuesday afternoon.
"You look at film hoping to find things you can attack on either side, but Auburn¹s a complete football team," head coach Mark Richt said. "They are outstanding in all phases of the game. It¹s going to be one heck of a game. I¹m glad it¹s at home and I also feel good about it being at night. I think our fans will be even more excited about it. It will be a physical game and hopefully we can make enough plays to win it.²
Saturday's contest between the Bulldogs and Tigers will be televised nationally by ESPN, with kick-off slated for 7:45 p.m. ET.
