In-State Safety Checks Out Dawgs

Georgia had quite a few official visitors on campus in Athens this weekend but they were vastly outnumbered by the amount of unofficial trippers in attendance. One of the biggest unofficial visitors was Atlanta safety Reshad Jones. Jones is a man of few words but he talks about his visit right here with Scout.com.

"It was nice. The Dawg Walk and everything was crazy. I like the players and the coaching staff," Reshad Jones said.

He enjoyed the atmosphere inside and outside of Sanford Stadium.

"The stadium was real nice. It was loud. Going through the Dawg Walk was a lot of fun with all the fans."

Reshad spent some time with the coaches before the game.

"I talked to the coaches a little bit. They think I can come in there and play early."

Jones says the visit improved Georgia's standing with him.

"It definitely brought Georgia up on my list a little bit. Just being in the atmosphere at a school like that was great."

He is also considering an official visit to Athens now.

"I'm thinking about taking an official visit to Georgia now. Before I was just going to take an unofficial because it was so close but I will probably will take an official there."

Jones lists LSU, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Miami and Michigan at the top of his list currently. He denies a favorite at this time…
