Sims: We have to come out and win

ATHENS – Antonio Sims spoke with Dean Legge for a short time after one of Georgia's fall practices.

Dean Legge: Everything going ok with you this season?

Antonio Sims: Yeah, I feel good. I am back to normal right now. I am still trying to get my fundamentals down – I am still a little rusty on those. Other than that – I am fine.

What is the mindset of the team going into this week?

As a team, we know what we need to do. The offense knows what they need to do. The defense knows what it needs to do. I think we are going to be fine. The mindset is that we are going to be ready to play.

What did a lot of the guys do Sunday – do you know?

It was just staying in the room and try to relax; try to recover from that loss. I mean we know in our minds that we were the better team, and we need to get back right, and work hard and get ready to play.

What about for you – what the plan for you?

I have been on pretty much all special teams. I haven't played too much defense – maybe a little in the Vanderbilt game – other than that I am trying to work hard and get a spot.

Do you recall last year's loss to Auburn? That loss – that was kind of it; now its not. How did the team leaders focus y'all?

Everyone was calm and loose before the game, but it hit us – we thought we were going to win the SEC East with that win, but we didn't. We've gotten three chances to do it and Saturday will be our last chance. We just have to come out and win.
