High school seniors who graduate early are allowed to enroll in college in the semester following the completion of the football regular season. Any players who enroll early will be able to participate in Georgia's bowl practices and spring practice next year.
The Bulldogs will be able to count three of those players toward last year's recruiting class, meaning they can bring in 28 new players (including early enrollees) in August instead of the usual limit of 25. Georgia, which has 22 verbal commitments already, is expected to sign as many as 32 players. By over-signing, Georgia improves its chance of bringing in a full class even if it loses some recruits for academic reasons.
National signing day is in February.
