5 Star Receiver to Visit the Dawgs?

Vidal Hazelton went to Hargrave with all of the accolades that accompany a five star prospect, but he found out he still had a lot to prove.

"Hargrave has made me a better person academically and athletically," said Vidal Hazelton. "Coming here at first was to get my grades, but I'm not going to lie, I thought on the field I was going to do the same things I did in high school. But the first time I stepped out there, the DB's, Anthony Johnson got me in our one on ones. I got him back though," said Hazelton with a laugh."

"Academically, they prepare you for the next level. We have to do a study hall, and I think I'll be ahead of everyone that's in high school right now. Plus, we get to play colleges every week."

Speaking of colleges, Hazelton was on the wish list of every major program in the country. Has he narrowed it down some?

"I've been to Tennessee, Virginia Tech, USC, and Miami so far. My last visit should be this weekend. I'm probably going to Georgia. It'll either be Georgia or Florida. I already have my itinerary for Georgia, so it will probably be there. My dad and I have talked about going to Florida still on an unofficial. I've already seen Florida, and I hadn't seen Georgia, so I wanted to go there for my official."

With four official visits already under his belt and two more to choose from does Hazelton have a leader?

"As far as my visits go, the two that I liked the most were Southern Cal and Miami. They were all good, but I liked those two the best. I'll be looking for good academic support, and I'm looking for a team that's winning. I want to go to a place where I get along with the players. I want to fit in with the players and the scheme."

Hazelton has the ability to right his own ticket to the next level, and he'll punch that ticket on national television as he plans to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 7th.
