Georgia Re-Schedules In-Home Visit

California TE Na Derris "Duke" Ward is ranked as a top 3 player at his position nationwide on Scout.com. He's being recruited by schools that stretch from coast to coast and he's narrowed his list down to a final 5.

"The schools I will choose from are Georgia, LSU, Arizona, Tennessee and Florida. I'm just trying to take my time and think about it," Na Derris Ward said.

Ward has entertained three seperate schools at his Oakland home so far this week.

"LSU, Arizona and Coach Fulmer from Tennessee have all been out to see me. Coach Richt and Coach Garner from Georgia were supposed to be here on Thursday (today) but they had to reschedule due to a Sugar Bowl meeting or something. They're supposed to be coming out soon though."

Duke and his McClymonds teammates took home their championship last weekend.

"I finally got that ring. It was something to rejoice about. That was one of my goals and it was one of the best feelings I've ever had. I had 3 catches for 90yds and a touchdown. I also had a 2 pt conversion and 7-8 tackles on defense with 2 sacks. I added about 5 pancake blocks too."

Blocking is something Ward has worked on this season.

"I'm definitely further ahead as a pass catcher but run blocking is something I really worked hard at this year because that was one of the big questions with me. I think I've gotten a whole lot better."
