Bryant waiting for good things to happen

ATHENS – A.J. Bryant spoke with Dean Legge for a short time after one of Georgia's fall practices.

Dean Legge: Tell me a little bit about yourself and how things are gong for you right now.

A.J. Bryant: I am feeling pretty good. This season is gone already – I'm going to be a junior next year. I don't think that's really hit me yet.

It sounds like it may have. You are the one that's talking about it.

(Smiling) What do you mean?

Just now… you brought it up.

I guess so…

Do you wish you had a crack at quarterback again?

(Laughing) I don't know man… right now I just want play. I am not playing that much because I got hurt at the start of the season, and that really held me back. I just keep getting hurt. I really don't know what to say.

What will help you get back on track next year? You've got two years left up here, and that's a long time.

It is a long time. Hopefully I will continue to work hard. I still believe that something good is going to happen for me because I work hard and I believe in God. That's all I can do: keep praying.

NOTE: Bryant was very lighthearted during the interview. He seems very happy with his situation with the exception of his difficulty with injuries.
