Georgia vs. Oregon State Time/place: Today, 5:30 p.m., Rose Garden, Portland, Ore. Broadcast: Fox SportsNet South Records: Georgia is 7-1, Oregon State is 3-3

About Oregon State: The Beavers are led by 6-foot-10 sophomore forward Sasa Cuic and 6-8 sophomore forward Marcel Jones. Cuic averaged 12.6 points and six rebounds per game. Jones averages 11.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Center Kyle Jeffers is coming off a career-high 13 points.

Oregon State has 87 turnovers and just 56 assists this year.

About Georgia: In each of the last two seasons, Georgia had more players averaging 30 or more minutes per game than any team in the league. This year, Sundiata Gaines' 27 minutes per game are the highest on the team. … Georgia is 48th in the country in scoring offense with 78.9 points per game. Last year, the Bulldogs were last in the SEC with 60.1 points per game … Seven-foot freshman Rashaad Singleton leads the SEC and is 17th in the country in blocks per game (2.8).

Scouting report: This matchup is like many the Bulldogs have had this season. Georgia doesn't have the personnel in the post to match up with Cuic and Jones and Jeffers. Likewise, the Beavers will be outmanned at guard. Georgia's stable of Levi Stukes, Sundiata Gaines, Channing Toney, Billy Humphrey and Mike Mercer could eat up Oregon State, particularly defensively. The Bulldog guards have 53 steals among them, and Oregon State has trouble holding onto the ball.
