Two Leaders for Georgia Wideout

Sandy Creek HS wide receiver Brent Brewer is a player that has kind of flown under the recruiting radar in the state of Georgia this year. He already holds some very good offers and he will get a chance to show just what a talent he is when he participates in the GACA North/South All-Star game on Thursday.

"I have offers from Georgia, Mississippi State and Illinois. Vanderbilt and Clemson offers are supposed to be coming as well," Brent Brewer said.

A pair of schools stick out to Brent at the current time.

"I like Georgia and Mississippi State so far. Those are my top two really."

Mississippi State: "I like them because I can go in and play early. Coach Croom is a real good coach and they have some good young talent that's coming up in the next few years so they'll be pretty good in the next few years."

Georgia: "With Georgia…just can't say nothing bad about them. Everything is good about Georgia."

Brewer is getting ready to kick off his official visits in the month of January.

"I'm supposed to be going to Georgia on January 9th, 10th and 11th but that's not final yet. I go to Mississippi State on January 21st and then Clemson on the 28th."

Is there a time table for a decision at this point?

"I could commit right after I take one of these visits if I really like it. I have a team in mind but I'm not going to say anything publicly about that yet."
