Two Leaders for 4-Star Georgia RB

Cameron Smith is one of the top players in the state of Georgia to still remain uncommitted at this point of the recruiting process. He currently has a top 5 with 2 schools that stick out. Who are they?

"I'm really waiting on Southern Cal because I heard they've been coming to my games but Georgia is still on my top list along with Cal, Purdue and Virginia," Cameron Smith said.

The Dawgs and Trojans standout the most to Cam at this juncture.

"Georgia and Southern Cal are really my two teams. It's like if I don't go to Southern Cal, I might be at Georgia."

Smith is trying to lock down his grades so he can be eligible for participation next fall.

"Everyone is still coming at me pretty hard even though I'm still trying to get my ACT score. I seem to still be high on their radar."

Cameron helped the North team to a 20-10 victory over the South in Saturday's GACA Georgia North/South All-Star game. What did he think about the experience of playing in the game?

"It was a great experience being here with all the best athletes in the state of Georgia. Georgia just has top recruits going everywhere like Notre Dame, Purdue and just being with all these guys and spending a week with them it was a great experience."

Smith busted out of the relative anonymity of Meadowcreek before his senior season and helped lead Brookwood to the state AAAAA championship game.

"I love Brookwood. That is my home now. They treated me just like I had always been there and going from losing to winning big was just a big step for me."
