Mammoth OL Starting To Set Visits

Lionel Mapp has captured the attention of curious recruiting fans ever since he showed up at the Kennedy/CES combine weighing a massive 370lbs and not looking sloppy. He's an absolute beast of an offensive lineman and recruiters have taken notice. Which schools still remain in contention for his signature?

"I haven't committed to anybody yet. I'm still looking and waiting on some schools. On my list is Florida, Central Florida, South Florida, Valdosta, Fort Valley, Georgia, Oklahoma State and Eastern Kentucky," Lionel Mapp said.

Who has extended him firm scholarship offers?

"I have firm offers from Valdosta State, Fort Valley State and Central Florida. The other schools just want to make sure I finish out my classes this semester and get my grades."

Lionel has begun to set his visits.

"I'm visiting South Florida in January but I don't remember the exact date. I'll be at Fort Valley on the 28th and when I get back from there I'm going on a little trip to Valdosta."

Greene County is a pretty small area and Mapp says he's ready for a larger environment.

"I'm looking at how close it is to home and how many people go to the school. I'd like to go a big school if I can."
