ATHENS - Josh Kendall previews the Lady Dawgs' game with SEC rival Florida.

Georgia women vs. Florida

Time/place: Today, 2:30 p.m., Stegeman Coliseum, Athens Broadcast: No television

Records: No. 17 Georgia is 10-3, 1-0 SEC, Florida is 13-1, 1-0 SEC

About Florida: The Lady Gators are led by freshman guard Sha Brooks and senior forward Brittany Davis, who each average 13.9 points per game. Davis adds 7.8 rebounds per game. … Senior Dalila Eshe is coming off the third double-double of her career, which she got in a victory over Alabama. … Florida is the highest-ranked team outside the Top 25.

About Georgia: Guard Sherrill Baker became the school's all-time steals leader in a win Thursday night over Ole Miss. Baker now has 343 steals in her three-plus year career. She moved past women's hoops legend Teresa Edwards in that category. … Megan Darrah is becoming more of a force for the Lady Bulldogs. She scored 18, all from behind the 3-point arc, against Ole Miss.

Scouting report: Florida doesn't excel in the one area it could hurt the Lady Bulldogs, and that's rebounding. Georgia is eighth in the SEC in rebounding margin at plus3.2 per game, and it's the area of the game that worries Coach Andy Landers almost as much as depth. However, the Lady Gators, though, are 10th in the league in rebounding margin at plus-3.0. For the season, Florida is averaging 12.2 fewer points than Georgia.

Up next: Georgia at Tennessee, Thursday, 7 p.m.; Florida vs. Kentucky, Thursday, 7 p.m.
