Georgia Commit Answers Rumors

Recruiting can sometimes be a whirlwind of rumor and innuendo. Recently, some of that got around to Georgia commit Prince Miller and news started to surface that he would be taking an official visit to Clemson. caught up with him on Thursday evening and he addressed the rumors.

"I am not visiting Clemson. I'm 100% committed to Georgia," Prince Miller said.

Not only will the Byrnes star not be in Clemson, he'll actually be on campus in Athens for his official visit.

"I'm taking my official visit to Georgia this weekend. I'm already committed so I'm not looking for anything to make my mind up or none of that, I just want to hang out with the guys. I know Massaquoi, CJ Byrd and Antavious Coates just from playing them and I want to get to know even more of the players."

More and more prominent players are annually skipping the South Carolina state border for UGA and Prince is hoping to make that a tradition.

"I'm looking forward to building a tradition there really. We have a lot of good players from South Carolina already at Georgia and we want to continue building that."

Where Miller could be most effective in recruiting for the Dawgs is at his own high school. Byrnes is a national powerhouse and they seem to pump out D-1 talent almost every year.

"Were going to have some guys maybe not next year but the year after and you know I'm going to be working them. I'm always doing that."

As for his immediate future in Athens, Prince is just hoping to make a contribution in whatever facet.

"I'm just going in and doing what I can to help the team. I'm not concerned about playing time or any of that."
