Josh Davis changes his commitment

Josh Davis (OT, Tylertown, MS) - In a stunning turn of events, long time Ole Miss commitment, Josh Davis, decided he wants to be a Georgia Bulldog.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Josh Davis:

What has been going on? "Well, I am at Georgia right now on an official visit."

When did you schedule this Georgia visit? "I decided on Monday I was coming."

What did Ole Miss say to you about this? "I told Coach Slocum Tuesday morning that I was coming. He was not too happy. Him and Coach Kehoe came by my house Tuesday night to see if they could change my mind. But really, Georgia has been on my mind since Mid-November. I decided that I wanted to come check them out again. "

What were your thoughts on Coach Kehoe and was this the first time you got a chance to personally meet Coach Kehoe? "Yes, that was my first time. I really liked him. I thought he was funny, and so did my mother. He would probably be a good coach to play for, but I have decided I am going to Georgia."

Why Georgia? "I came to Georgia for a weekend during the football season, and I really liked it a lot when I came. I had to come up here and see it again. I am on an official visit to Georgia right now. I just think this is the best place for me. Their academic support group is just heads and shoulders above everybody else's. I also love their faculties too. I know I told Ole Miss that was I coming, and I feel bad about that, but I can not pass up an opportunity to better myself, so I have decided I am going to Georgia."

Josh carries a 3.5 GPA / 23 ACT.
