It is hard to say what we learned last season about Michael Johnson because of the focus on the other star wide receivers. We know that Johnson has had a difficult time getting onto the field for one reason or another since his arrival in Athens a few years ago.
Johnson had only seven receptions last season, but averaged 16 yards a catch. He played in all twelve games last season, but only made a significant impact against Arkansas State.
What we learned:
We learned that Johnson will have to earn any time that he sees on the field next season. With Edwards, Gary, Gibson, and others getting time at receiver it is hard to know just how much Johnson will be used.
