2007: Clark interested in Dawgs, others

Florida running back T.J. Clark spoke with Dean Legge for a short time about recruiting.

Dean Legge: What are some of the schools you are interested in?

T.J. Clark: Georgia, Miami, Florida State, USC and Auburn.

You live close to Miami, how difficult would it be to leave home?

To a place like USC, that would be harder, but to a place like Georgia, Auburn, Florida State or Auburn, they are all touching Florida so that would be easier.

What are your strengths?

I ran run inside and outside.

Do you like to catch the ball coming out of the backfield?

Yes. We didn't really pass to the running back a lot last year, but I like that.

Have you gotten letters from all of the schools you mentioned?

Yes. I've got letters from Miami, Florida State, Georgia, Auburn and Pitt.

How did y'all do in football last season?

We went 4-7, but we made the AAAAA Playoffs.

What makes you interested in Georgia?

The running back tradition, and Georgia was the first school to write me a letter.

When did they send it to you?

Last year when I was in 10th grade.

NOTE: Clark is a 5-10, 190-pound running back from Melbourne High School in Florida. As a sophomore he ran for 1,500 in Florida's Class AAAAA classification.
