Georgia men vs. Florida
Time/place: Today, 7 p.m., O'Connell Center, Gainesville, Fla.
Broadcast: Fox SportsNet Florida
Records: Georgia is 15-12, 5-9 SEC; No. 17 Florida is 22-6, 8-6 SEC

About Georgia: The Bulldogs are trying to stay out of the No. 6 seed in next week's SEC Tournament. Georgia currently is tied with South Carolina for fifth place in the league and would win any tiebreakers against the Gamecocks, but they probably will need to win one of their last two games to keep pace with South Carolina. The Gamecocks finish the season with LSU and Auburn. … Junior Levi Stukes, the team's leading scorer, needs 33 points to reach 1,000 for his career. … Point guard Sundiata Gaines remains on pace to lead the Bulldogs in rebounds and assists this year.

About Florida: The Gators have won four straight over Georgia. … Florida can match its school record for home wins (16) with a victory tonight in its final home game of the season. … The Gators can tie their school record for most overall regular season wins with victories in its next two games. … Point guard Tauren Green and forward Joakim Noah, who totaled 45 points in their first meeting with Georgia this season, lead the Gators with 15.9 and 14.1 points per game respectively.

Scouting report: Twice this season, Georgia faced Kentucky when the Wildcats were on a three-game losing streak. Coincidentally, the Gators, who were once ranked as high as No. 2 in the country, enter today's game on a three-game losing streak. It's not a coincidence that Georgia coach Dennis Felton appreciates. Under these circumstances, there's almost no chance the talented Gators will overlook the Bulldogs, and that's about the only thing that could result in a Georgia win.
