HONORS: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Super Southern 100 and Class AAA All-State…2005 Georgia Sports Writers Association Class AAA All-State Honorable Mention defense… 2005 FSN South Countdown to Signing Day "All-South" Second Team Offense…Valdosta Daily Times All-State Honorable Mention …recorded 81 total tackles during his senior year… rated among the top 14 offensive linemen and the top 55 prospects in the country by Scout.com…rated in the top 22 total prospects and the best two-way lineman in the South by Scout.com…rated the No. 14 offensive tackle in the country by ESPN.com…played in the 2005 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association North-South All-Star game.

FINAL WORD: Listed officially by Georgia as a defensive lineman, Tripp will likely end up at defensive end. A wealth of talent will likely prevent Tripp from playing this fall, but you never know what injuries could do the shape of the defensive line. Tripp has a body much like current Bulldog Quintin Moses.
