2006 Spring Practice: Day 1 He said it

ATHENS – What the Bulldogs are said after their first practice of the spring.

"Not bad for a first day!" – Coach Mike Bobo during Saturday morning's practice. Its not clear if Bobo was talking to Matthew Stafford or the group as a whole. Stafford participated in his first college practice ever Saturday.

"I've seen a lot worse." – Georgia Head Coach Mark Right talking about the Bulldogs' first day back at practice.

"I'm not going to touch the quarterbacks." – Wide Receiver Mohamed Massaquoi about the on going quarterback battle in Athens. Massaquoi played with Joe Cox at Independence in Charlotte.

"If I was not happy he I would be moping around here." – Running back Danny Ware when directly asked about if he was happy playing at Georgia.

"He's trying to learn what do. He's got a long way to go." – Richt again, this time responding to a question about Matthew Stafford's first day at practice.
