Profile 2003 - Will Campbell (CB)

Will Campbell was another standout at the Nike Camp in Athens, GA in April. He turned in a 4.53 forty time and has since run better. "I ran a 4.4 at the Duke and Vanderbilt camps earlier this month," said Campbell. "I was at Auburn yesterday for a camp, and I'll be going to Florida later this month. I'll finish up with Georgia in July. I may go to Georgia Southern on Friday; I'm not sure yet."

Screven County lost big back Michael Cooper to Georgia last season, but don't look for much drop off. "We return about 18 starters overall, I think we'll have a pretty good shot this year." Campbell's role will be that of an athlete again. "I don't care where I play in college. I'll play anywhere I can help on the field. Right now, I'd say I like Duke, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Navy, and Auburn."

More than just a good athlete, Campbell excels in the classroom as well. He currently carries a 3.5 GPA and made a 1050 on his first attempt on the SAT.
