2006 Spring Practice: Day 4 Practice Report

ATHENS - The University of Georgia football team held its fourth spring practice Friday afternoon, a two-hour session in full pads at the Woodruff practice fields.

³I was very pleased with the effort displayed in practice today,² said Georgia head coach Mark Richt. ³I saw some good things on both sides of the ball. Today¹s practice was a great finish for us as we head into spring break.²

Richt was asked to assess the quarterbacks following practice.

³We have been rotating all of the quarterbacks as evenly as possible throughout spring practice. We are still in the process of evaluating each of them and will continue to divide up repetitions for the rest of spring.²

Richt went on to offer his thoughts on some particular players who were impressive in Friday¹s practice.

³Thomas Brown and Mikey Henderson were both very impressive on offense. Mikey made several great plays today that we have been hoping to see from him this spring. Defensively, Quentin Moses and Charles Johnson were pretty dominating today.²

Georgia¹s next practice is scheduled for Monday, March 20.
