Quentin Grant recently spoke with Todd Jenkins of Athens - a defensive end from Athens Academy.

Quentin Grant: What schools are currently in contact with you right now?

Todd Jenkins: I haven't gotten any offers yet. I've been getting mail from a lot of Ivy League schools and I've also gotten mail from Georgia Tech.

Do you have any favorites right now?

Well I like Georgia, because it's really close to home, but besides that I don't really have a favorite.

Where are you planning on camping this summer?

I'm not sure quite yet my mom is setting that up for me.

Have you attended any Junior Days or do you plan on attending any Junior Days in the future?

I haven't attended any Junior Days yet, and I'm not sure which ones I'm going to.

You said you were getting a good deal of mail from Ivy League schools – you must make good grades?

Well I go to Athens Academy, which is a really difficult school. I guess that's why I'm getting so much mail from them.

What is the main thing you are looking for in a school as recruiting goes on?

I just want to go to a good place with a solid program. I would like to stay close to home.

You mentioned Georgia as one of your favorites, what do you like best about Georgia?

Well, it's close to home and they have a great program.

Has Georgia been in contact with you at this point?

No sir they have not.

When are you looking at making your commitment?

I'm not really sure, I guess whenever the time is right. I'll have to look at the schools that offer and weigh my options as far as a good school and having a chance at playing time.
