SEC interested in Auguste

Akeem Auguste, a cornerback out of Pembroke Pines High School in Florida, spoke with Quentin Grant about recruiting and his future plans.

Quentin Grant: What schools are currently in contact with you right now?

Akeem Auguste: I've heard from the University of Virginia, Florida, Auburn, Miami, and Ole Miss.

Do you have any favorites out of the schools you just named?

Not really, I'm just trying to work on my grades and next year I will worry about that.

Have any of the schools you just mentioned offered you yet?

Yes sir, I have offers from all of them.

Have you attended any Junior Days or do you plan on attending any in the future?

I have attended Miami's Junior Day.

Do you plan on attending any spring games?

I'm not sure right now because we are having our own spring game, and we'll see if I can make any from there.

What are some strengths you have on the field as a player?

I think I cover very well, break to the ball, and come off the hit

What's the main thing you are looking for in a school?

Well I want everybody to be together as far as on and off the field. The environment has to be good and I definitely want to get my education.

What about committing, a lot of guys are committing early now, do you see yourself being an early commitment or waiting until the end?

I think I might commit early, but I'm not sure yet. I will have to sit down with my coaches and my mom and see if that is the best decision for me.
