5 Star Ga. ATH has Offers Pouring In

Allen Bailey is a terrific athlete from the Peach State. Bailey, 6-4 and 250 pounds, is a five-star defensive end prospect that plays linebacker and fullback for Darien (Ga.) McIntosh County Academy.

Last season as a junior Allen Bailey recorded 121 tackles. For Bailey, he wants a shot at linebacker first and would prefer not to put his hand down at the next level.

"I don't know where (position) I will end up but I do know that I want to play linebacker in college," said Bailey. "I play in the middle but I could play MIKE or SAM. That doesn't matter to me. I just want to play linebacker. I just go and get the ball."

According to Bailey he has scholarship offers from eight or nine schools.

"Right now I would say that I am more open. I like Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Miami, and Clemson. Georgia is close to home and I like the campus. I have not been to Alabama yet but I plan on going this spring or summer and checking them out. I am anxious to see them. I was down at FSU two weeks ago. It was their pro day. They really impressed me.

"I am also going down to Miami on April 15th. I think that's their spring game. I have not been to Clemson yet and don't know too much about them. Two things will be important to me with me decision and that's early playing time and what position I will play."
